BODYWORKS: THE ART OF DESMOND MORRIS - a selling exhibition Catalogue Cover

A selling exhibition, showcasing over 70 works by Desmond Morris, to coincide with the release of his new book Bodyworks.

"A fascination for the natural world and great skill with pencil and paint are neither uncommon. Nor is it unusual for such characteristics to occur simultaneously in a single human being. Desmond Morris has certainly possessed both, right from an early age and to an extraordinary degree. But with a strange difference. He has never felt any desire to combine them. Why, he asked himself, try to put on paper or canvas what anyone can see for themselves? So he has always kept his two talents rigorously separate. But he has indulged each of them - almost daily - for virtually all of his life. He is both a realist and a Surrealist" (Sir David Attenborough, 2018)
