A PAIR OF QUEEN ANNE SCOTTISH SILVER THISTLE CUPS, with part lobed girdled bodies, beaded strap handles and plain foot rims, engraved initials W over I.A., by Thomas Cleghorne, Edinburgh 1702, assay Master's mark of James Penman, 8cm high, 12.5oz overall (2)

 

Condition report: many of the raised lobes on the lower part of both cups are worn through. Both have some knocks and scratches. Engraved initials to the side W over I.A, and one has some short line scratches to the right of these initials. Marks to the bases are reasonably clear.
