Redwood shodana worked in three levels with cupboards Japanese, Meiji period (1890-1910) the display shelves bordered by drawers and cupboards and the lower section with cupboards and drawer, all door panels finely worked in lacquer mother of pearl and ivory displaying floral ikebana arrangements in basket work imitation and vases, interspersed with furniture items and musical instruments, the overall frame work finely carved with flowers, foliage and openwork trailing branches, and highlighted by gold, hiramakiye lacquer foliage and flower heads on wood matching stand with open work wood floral motif panel 117cm x 174cm
