Modern & Post-War Art at Mallams

Mallams offers paintings, sculptures, works on paper and prints by some of the foremost Modern and Post-War artists.

This exciting, diverse and internationally appealing field ranges from the early modernism of Edwardian artists and The Camden Town School to the Neo-Romantics and the Cornish Artists, through Post-War Abstraction, Pop Art, and Op Art to contemporary artists. Notable sales have included works by John Piper, Paul Nash, David Bomberg, Michael Ayrton, Alan Reynolds, Julian Trevelyan, Mary Fedden, Lynn Chadwick and David Hockney.

Our curated Modern and Post-War Art sales are held in May and December in our Oxford saleroom and regularly achieve record prices, including recent sales of a long-lost Christopher Nevinson painting for £135,000 and a William Russell Flint watercolour for £85,000.
