Mallams holds regular specialist sales of jewellery and watches each year at our Oxford saleroom, offering a variety of carefully selected jewels and collections dating from the early Georgian period through to contemporary design by jewellery houses such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co. and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Our biannual sales of Post War Art and Design also incorporate Decorative Arts jewellery, including Arts and Crafts and Scandinavian modernist pieces, in addition to works by celebrated 20th Century British artists such as Wendy Ramshaw and Gillian Packard.
Department highlights include the sale of a 5ct diamond single stone ring for £48,000 (hammer price), a Liberty & Co. gold and enamel necklace for £31,000 (hammer price), which set a world record price for a piece of Archibald Knox jewellery sold at auction, and a pair of Art Deco diamond earrings by Cartier, which achieved a house record of £72,000 (hammer price).
With access to gemmological laboratories and in-house testing facilities, our experienced specialists are happy to provide complimentary valuations with a view to selling at auction. Please email email@example.com for further information.
