Chinese & Japanese Art at Mallams

The department was first established in 2009. We are recognised as one of the leading regional auction houses in the field. The sales attract buyers and sellers from throughout the world, particularly China, Hong Kong, Europe and North America.

Notable private collections have been consigned including the Dolphyn collection of Samurai armour and swords in 2017, and the Charles George collection in 2016 featuring a monochrome celadon Yongzheng (1723-1735) vase selling for £750,000 (hammer price).
