Chinese, 18th Century
of archaistic hu form with three raised bands around the centre, and two raised butterfly handles. The heavily potted vase with underglaze blue intricate diaper ground, scattered copper-red butterflies, flower heads and with a ruyi border, on a raised foot, 49.1cm high x rim diameter 21.6cm x 36cm wide

Provenance:- originally owned by the vendor's great grandfather who ran an antique shop in Liverpool, and thence by descent.
