A modernist opal set ring by Frank Ahm, of flowing open spiral design from a single piece of wrought metal with a closed back bezel set flat opal, signed 'F.Ahm' and stamped '585', Size J.
The opal has a crack across the full midsection of the cabochon/doublet (identity cannot be established due to the closed back setting), approximate gross weight 5.4gm.
