One of the outer rubies is broken, with a section missing. The remaining rubies and sapphires have slightly variable hues, some stones containing areas of colour zoning, mineral inclusiions, fractures and fissures, occasional stones with small chips and fractures. All have surface wear. Diamonds are mostly well matched, bright and lively, occasional stones with chips/nicks and fractures. It is possible that the monogram panel may have been later added to the bar mount. The mount and panel have general surface wear and there are traces of a prior inscription to the back of the bar that has been partially polished out. The brooch pin and safety catch are currently functioning. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 3.7gm.
