all plates with rubbing to the gilt rims, rubbing to the painted decoration and scratching to the glaze commensurate with age and use, notable particularly around the edges of the centre of the plates. The first plate with a repaired crack with three staples to the back, starting at 11 o'clock and running 5cm into the plate. The second with a repaired crack with three staples to the back, 6cm long, starting at 11 o'clock, with a fork in the crack running towards the centre of the plate; the plate with a second crack of 0.6cm at 9. o'clock. The third plate with two biscuit chips to the rim, the larger 1.5cm long, and the smaller .6cm long. The third plate with a shallow biscuit chip, 3cm long, to the rim and crazing throughout the plate.
