The fire opals have vibrant deep orange hues, one slightly longer in length and one slightly wider in length. Both fire opals have surface wear, scuffs and nicks/chips. Both of the fire opals have white residue visible at the junctions to the caps, possibly where they have been glued in place. Dimensions of fire opals approximately 12mm length x 8.7mm width and 11mm length x 9mm width respectively. Diamonds are well matched, bright and lively, with estimated VS1 to SI2 clarity and H to K colour, assessed mounted. The single-cut diamond is likely to be a later replacement. The mounts have surface wear, nicks and scuffs. The screw-back fittings are later replaced and have dark solder joins at the junctions with the upper diamond settings. Both fittings are functioning. Metal standard of the mounts is untested. Gross weight approx. 4gm.
