A pair of Qajar tiles Iran 19th Century the large rectangular tiles painted with tulip and other foliate designs in blue, turquoise and manganese, each within an oak frame, 33cm x 31cm NB: One tile bearing old original label - 'Persian tile Honorable G N Curzon (Lord Curzon of Kedleston) (sic)'. George Nathaniel Curzon (1859-1925) was a Conservative Statesman and Viceroy of India and the author of 'Persia and the Persian Question' published in 1892.
