A 19th century French green and white striped glass scent bottle, of slightly tapered form, decorated with a spiral stripe design, and having unmarked gilt metal hinged cover enclosing glass inner stopper, 9.5cm high
There is a grey manufacturing inclusion/fault to the lower body, some minor chips and knocks to the lower areas. There is a small solder repair to the back of the hinge, and a split to the mount on the neck.
Does not stand up straight alone.
