An early 19th century mahogany eight-day longcase clock, the painted arching dial decorated with a cartouche of a small girl holding a plate, with subsidiary second hand and date aperture, signed 'William Hall of North Sheilds'

Dimensions: 57cm wide x 30cm deep x 220cm high

Marks, dents and scratches overall to the case. Damage to the door just above the escutcheon. The door locked shut and with no key. The lower left hand section of the trunk detached and in need of repair. Signs of repair overall, particularly some moulding to the cornice and the lower section of the case. Some venner lifting around the door. A replaced handle to the door. The dial with losses to the paintwork. The movement in need of restoration and cleaning. Complete with pendulum and two weights.
