Various cuttings and handwritten notes, refer to this study as having been given to Anne and Douglas Delves as a wedding present by Mrs Goetze, widow of Sigismund Goetze (1860-1939). The painting is being sold on behalf of a relative of Anne and Douglas Delves.

Framed and glazed and it has not been removed. Some marks and slight discolouring. The plaster frame has some losses.
