One of the screws is missing on the painted-metal front, therefore coming loose. The mechanism appears to function, producing a punch in paper when the lever is pulled. We cannot speak for the mechanical soundness of the clock, we therefore recommend servicing before use. The metal face of the clock is somewhat crooked. Signs of historical woodworm to the wooden case. The mechanism which joins the time and date to the stamping mechanism is detached.
